SUPIMA COTTON

Supima cotton is a variety of cotton grown in the American Southwest called Pima, and is an abbreviation for Superior Pima. While regular cotton has a fiber length of 35mm or less, Supima cotton has a fiber length of 35mm or more. Only high-quality cotton with a fiber length of 35mm or more is classified as "extra-long staple cotton," making it a rare raw material. Its strength allows it to be used in a wide variety of products, from thin to thick. Its low fuzz and uniform shape when spun into yarn result in a soft texture, excellent dyeability, and a glossy finish, creating a luxurious finish.
